It is been awhile since I last blog about my life with my precious little boy. Give my blogs a rest from beauty blogging :) This year my son will turn age 4. Time flies and I still cannot believe how I survive those years of mother love chores. He has grown so much now, can talk well, understand well and most importantly, he is behaving well. I am so happy and proud of him. On my many blogs ago, I did mention I transferred him to a new school name Whyte House. He is still attending. Thumbs up! It educates, coaches and grooms my son into an independent and well mannered boy.
At the age of 3, he already eats, brushes his teeth, self cleaning and wear clothes all by himself. Plus, he keeps away his toys after playing. He obeys us and listens to our reasons. He may have his little run down time especially during sickness or on medication but he is now alot better to care for comparatively to younger days. What makes him significant from his pros is I have a little feeling that he is a thoughtful boy. Whenever I think of his thoughtfulness, my heart is always touched and feel bless to have him. God is very fair, I know I deserve my boy very much than others. At very young age, his mummy has a place in his heart. He will always ask for 2 sets of things because one is for his mummy. Eg. When his granny is having apple, he will ask for 2 slices - 1 for him, another for me. He is a considerate boy too, Eg. During dinner once, he asked my dad to eat the chicken, he said was nice and followed by do not eat the bone, must spit it out. Bone cannot be eaten. You will vomit...aaaww...how nice of him :)
We do not pamper him much but we love him. So, at the early days we do not give in to him much but we always show sharing-ness mindset with him. Eg. cartoon vs non cartoon movie, he will ask to watch cartoon but at times we allow, at times we will say non cartoon first, we watch first, later will let you watch. Only 1 TV set so sharing. Food wise, if he wants more shares of his own portion, I will say the food is for everyone to share around, so you cannot have more than the rest. He obeys. Whenever, I say this is to share with mummy, remember to leave some for me...and each time without fail, he will save some for me. We always bring him to toyshop to play on weekly basis, but he is a good boy never asks to buy. We already set his mentality that go to toyshop - cannot buy, play only. He knows but of course need hard work to educate him on this and to make him understands buying is when daddy and mummy said so.
What makes me proud is my hard work pays off :) I remembered very well that when he is age 2..was the worse moments. Struggling with parenting..hahahaha...As days pass by, me too on learning stage - on how to communicate with my son to bring out the best in him. Special Thanks to the teachers and friend in teaching me as well, otherwise, my son shall not thrive as at these days. Is still too early to tell, I know, but I am always a grateful person and a strong believer in karma and life, I hope my son will grow up healthy, wealthy and prosperity with abundance of happiness.
Parenting does not end here, still continue and will go on and on till my very last breath!! He shows loves and caring as how I bestow on him. So, all parents out there, remember, you are what your kids be in future. That is why always people will say parents are very important as a good role models. Do not rely on school but self patience and learn together with your kids. Seek advice if you are new parents. Is ok to make mistake as we are only human and we do have our first time, but always admit wrong and apologise. You want your kids to be responsible and always apologise on their own mistakes. So that they can grow from it. Is what I am doing. Now, my son knows how to say sorry and thank you. Nevertheless, as parents we need to always nag on our toddler because to keep them in check and in line, sometimes they may forget too. Keep reason and remind them until they have the mentality of acceptance.
Once a dear friend of mine mentioned to me that many parents mistake by changing their kids behaviour instead of mentality. But mentality is the core to raise a bright and good natured kids. Is still early to teach my son about money. But lately, I have been using money term with him. Not as in calculative but as in daily needs such as, do not waste electricity because pricey, so when not in use must switch it off. He may or may not understand the importance of money yet but frequent bringing up and shares examples to him may help his mentality. I do not enforce but I pretty much want his acceptance of understanding. I am starting to teach him not to waste food. Besides waste money, do not waste food because there are children or people around the world without proper source of food and water. He may not understand compassion but he finishes off his food and repeats after me whenever I remind him of poor people.
So many things to show and teach him. Still a long road/path to walk...I hope the path is brightly lit for him.

H2o+ - Your Skin Needs of 8 glasses of water
Yes..Exactly, H2o+ is my alternative skincare to Eminence. H2o+ products are much and alot cheaper. Additionally, member gets 10% discounts on all products and 5% discounts on sets. It has collagen drink too. Member entitles to monthly promotion and for Jan 2014 - Buy 2 cleansers and get 2nd cleanser 50% off and Feb 2014 - Buy 2 boxes of collagen drink and get 3rd box free. So, I am going to snatch the collagen drink next month :)
A SHORT STINT WITH BOBBI BROWN
Let me briefly intro why I got myself involved with H2o+. I bought Bobbi Brown Hydrating series - Gel Cream moisturizer and Toner. Even though I felt good as in non oily, give a sheen look and yet non sticky, however, after using just a few days, red patches appeared. Is an allergy reaction to me. If you follow my blogs, you will come to Mary Kay post that also caused me allergy reaction. So, I stopped using Bobbi Brown and my allergy stopped and recovered.

Since, I am an itchy hand girl (hehehe...likes experimenting new brands), I roamed the entire Gurney Plaza and eyed on H2o+ stand alone boutique and danced over to enquire :) Many years ago, when I had pimply face, I remembered I tried before H2o brand. Not like it. H20 with the + sign is their new re-branding and this year they have new packaging too. Surprisingly, just work well to my skin. I bought myself gift set of Oasis range. Is a hydrating products with transparent blue color with marine smell. Almost can pass as swimming pool or open ocean smell and the color is exactly like un-polluted sea :)
The set comes with mist, hydrator booster, the infamous 8 glasses water moisturizer, eye stick and cleanser. I bought SPF30 Lotion as sunblock. I know I already have Eminence sunblock that can last me half a year or more..hehe..I just want to try it out. Cleanser - blue pearl color with beats..not much, but just nice for daily exfoliation wash. I use it at night only. Easy lathering up and no tight feeling after wash but skin feels smooth and clean and fresh too.
Mist - Acts as my toner. I just mist my face with this on cleansed skin. Hydrator Booster Serum - Gel texture at the bottom of the bottle with water above it - transparent blue. Shake before use to give it a good mixture before pump out 2 pumps on palm and blend with 2 palms before pressing gently on skin. Initially, the promoter recommended me to use only at night unless during day I feel not enough hydrated, I may use it day & night. I have been using this day & night, skin no longer feel dry or tight as I am in constant air-condition environment and I am naturally dehydrated skin. It gives a light sheen look. Skin no longer dull look.
Hydrating Treatment (the infamous moisturizer that claimed to give skin 8 glasses of water needs) - I extremely love this product. Is gel type with transparent blue and smells like sea. As moisturizer, apply after serum and spread evenly and lightly pat for skin absorption. Sheen look. Gives skin more luminous. Drawback, needs awhile for skin to absorb and lightly sticky too. But it does not clog pores neither oily. I suppose it keeps my skin hydrated, sebum tends to function less so my skin has less blackheads too. Plus, I notice my pores are not that visible. Skin abit plumps up from 8 glasses of water that skin needs. Especially so dehydrated skin like mine. No break out so far. Soothe my skin so my redness is not a problem. Keep my skin hydrated (maybe the booster serum helps too as it claims to work deep down our epidermis), so less sunburn effect.
As sleeping mask (treatment), after wash, I will mist alot on my skin then apply thickly of the treatment gel. It will not absorb as it is thick layer but it can dry up become abit sticky, just spread evenly and leave it - go to bed. In the morning, skin is refreshed and hydrated. No need to use cleanser in the morning, straight wash my face with running water. Surprisingly, non oily or greasy, easily wash and you can feel clean with no residue. Best of all, no break outs!! I do have break outs when I use Laneige Sleeping Pack, but H20+ treatment gel is not breaking me out. :) I have been using as treatment twice weekly.
Hydrating Lotion SPF30 - Initially I thought is a day moisturizer with spf. Will cut down my facial regime. Some people will use it singlely but I use it on top of my moisturizer. Recommended by the promoter. Blue cream texture and not oily. Just spread evenly and skin just drinks it. Lightly press for absorption. So far no break out also a good alternative to Eminence. Conclusion, skin sebum is controlled well. Skin hydrated so less problem and importantly keep my skin moist through out the day. I have been using H2o+ for 3 weeks now. Pricing ranging RM99 - 159.00. Oasis range. Matured skin products always cost more. Members get further discount so I personally feel this brand is worth trying.
I was given Night Oasis™ Oxygenating Rejuvenator, I use it as night moisturizer and day is the hydrating treatment gel. So far so good, I find this night moisturizer is better to use it at night than hydrating treatment. More hydration. A good one to use when sleeping under air-condition. No break out too. Night Oasis™ Overnight Eye Complex, use it daily at night. As I do not have problem on eye area so I do not know how fair this is. But I prefer this to stick. Is gel type also need awhile to absorb. Hydrating purpose so I suppose around eye area, skin will not feel dry and can help on lines prevention.

UPDATES** On Eminence Products/Facial
Hi all!! Jan 2014 almost is up..so fast isn't it? :) Before welcoming Chinese New Year, let me updates abit of my last post. I had my second facial experience with My Beauty Cottage (MBC) which carries Eminence products. I just fell in love with my facial spa ONCE AGAIN...AAaahhhHhhHh....so calming and relaxing..one just cannot deny this luxury pampering session. You can LIKE them in Facebook to receive its' updates..and you will come to know a few beauty magazines editors highly recommend Eminence facial spa. The only drawback of this brand is the pricing. :)..is indeed way too costly. One can alternatively find other brands that suit one's skin. No doubt, Eminence products indeed concentrated which is highly nutritious to skin. You can see and feel almost instant results. I spent on its' facial course, cost me RM2000++. I am going to stick to this for my monthly facial regime because I love to be massaged from head to toe :) Best of all, they use hand and organic products without any machines. Always after facial, skin is alot healthier and better. What I like is, they will give me some trial size products to suit my that day skin. Maybe not everytime just when necessary.
Let me go in depth, on my 2nd visit, I had allergy red patch on my cheeks due to Bobbi Brown products and my skin was very sensitive too (redness and flushing). So the beautician was so kind to give me 2 trial size Tokay Ice Wine masks and 2 trial size Rosehip Whip Moisturizers. I was not given any on my 1st facial but on my 1st facial, my skin was normal. That is why I love it and felt touched when they even considerately help my skin out. Generous I would say :) Ta Da! my skin just soaked up everything and hence recover already. not even a week of my facial with the trial products given. I really appreciate and thank them. Making my sign up worthy!! My 3rd visit will be in Feb 2014. Very looking forward :)
As for the products, so far I have no negative write up. Because all just work wonder on my skin and almost NIL trouble given to my skin. I do not remember I have any trouble with the products. Making this brand a very good choice if you can afford it. I only purchased Tropical Vanilla Sunscreen - RM438/jar (please review in my last blog). By far, I must give credit to this sunblock, the best sunblock ever. Non oily or non greasiness at all and keep your skin hydrated whole day!! So is a keep for me :)

You know, I kind of broke after monthly of purchasing different brands with my own pocket money and try those out before blogging of my testimonials..hehehe..so, I am giving my pocket a rest. But, I highly recommend this products if you can afford!! Fret not, No pimples breakouts..so Ladies, rest assured :)
