Santa came early with my gifts :)

Oh very well, the Santa i meant of course is my hubby. His Japan business trip came at the right moment of time. Just nice, before Christmas :) Burberry Blue Label only has it in Japan & UK. Obviously, my hubby bought me Blue Label purse & a bag plus a Samantha Thavasa purse :). Fantastic!!

How much has my baby Ced has grown so far?

At the ripe age of 2 years old, Ced has attended pre-school for 2 months now and now he is enjoying his a week long school holidays :) I notice that after attending school, he now can eat by himself and will bring his empty plate and cup to kitchen after finishing the food and drink. Can now communicate with us. So, to me is getting easier :) He is way too smart resulting difficulties to reason with him. Parenting isn't easy at all :) He is now 14kgs. He can recognize alot of things such as:- apple, bag, carrot, duck, egg, fish, moon, octopus, quil, sock, umbrella & X-ray (which he referred to as Kong kong's hand). All these are from his A-Z block board I bought him a year ago :) On his 2yo birthday, he surprised me by saying "picture" :)

New food eating venture - he dips bread into milo and eats :) He learns fast and remembers well. The beauty of children nowadays. He shares his food with me especially dried ones like biscuits and cornflakes. He either give me some from his bowl or he takes a bite and gives me a bite. How loving isn't it? hehehe...He is my sunshine and everything of my life. :)

I am lucky as Cedric is indeed an understanding and behaving boy. Although, he is mischievous at times. Once, he was eating biscuits and walking around with crumbs everywhere. I told him to stay where he was and finish the biscuits before anything else as mummy does not like dirtiness. He squat on the spot he was and munched :). He knows when washing his bumbum, he needs to squat :) He now knows to poo/pee in potty but only when he is with maid. If anyone around, he will not potty. As for bathing time, he is goodboy as he will not fuss when bathe is done. At my place, he will obediently put back the water scoop where it is belong and leave shower place. At my mom's place, he will pass me his toys and stand up to leave. Oh boy, how adorable and angelic he is :)

He got a construction toy set from his uncle and aunt for his bday cum xmas gift :) A good choice as he is now interested on construction site and big vehicles :)  

My Personal Review of Skincare - Part 3

HOHOHO!! Merry Christmas to everyone who is reading my blog now..hehehe..Well, as mentioned above, Skincare - Women's favourite topic..:) My last experiment with Mary Kay has brought me to the next height. Depending on individual skin, MK has provided improvement/changes to my skin. To be fair, MK unclogged my clogged skin..hahaha...Unfortunately, another brand that does not sustain for me. 2 months into using it, I suffered viral infection which resulted face & full body with red rashes. It started with my face - red, itchy & blotchy. In MK, all its' cleansers are 3-in-1 type which means come in beads form for daily scrub. It only trigger my skin even more. So, I decided to get myself Clinique moisturizer and cleanser to use temporary until my skin recover but on my way to Clinique counter, out of a sudden 2 females right in front of me suddenly stopped and turned around hurriedly walked up to Biotherm counter which was doing promotion. I overheard them saying "hey, Biotherm is doing promotion over there. Let's check it out." All along, Biotherm has not interest me yet. Even I came upon its' products in magazines. The counter exists for some time but still not interest me to check it out until then. I consulted one of Biotherm's senior regarding my burning face. She reommended me some products to use and estimated 2 weeks recovery. She told me my face now is like a hot saucepan, when you add oil/water to the burning saucepan will hear "ppsss" sound. Even using her products, my skin will still be red but it will slowly subside and recover. Miraculously, it took 2 days to recover only. Thank God! :) 1st application - soothe my skin instead of worsening. Does not irritate my skin further. 2nd application - redness reducing. 3rd application - recover.

Amazing right?!! :) Lucky in time for my Xmas celebration with nice complexion instead of burning hot skin. LOL!! I am using Biotherm PurrFect toner and moisturizer, Source Therapy Serum, Sunblock (Day); BioSource toner and moisturizer, Source Therapy Serum (Night). Simple and easy steps. Easily absorb, so reduce so much of my time during application :) Outcome is matte without stripping feeling. Now, into 2nd week of using. Hopefully, can lock my heart to it's brand forever after. Tired of hoping around skincare brand but I do not know why after some time, skin will go bad again and make me skincare hop all over again.

My New Venture - Mary Kay

This will be my 3rd skincare review but it is a special blog. As I have already signed up to be one of the Independant Beauty Consultants for Mary Kay Incorp. Hurray..join the forces!! I am very excited into my new venture. Tried out the products about a month back and am still using. If you have been following my blogs, you already know my skin condition so I will not go into it again.

Moving on, so far I love the products alot. Besides, working wonder on my skin, it feels so nice just using them. For sharing purposes:- (DAY) 3-in-1 botanical cleanser, botanical freshen, time wise replenish, time wise Vitamin C serum, oil-free moisturizing gel, botanical hydrate (moisturizer), time wise sunblock, oil mattefying, time wise foundation. (NIGHT) 3-in-1 botanical cleanser, freshen, replenish, Vitamin C serum, oil-free moisturizing gel, time wise night solution, hydrate.

Botanical series are for younger skin or sensitive skin. Time Wise series are anti-aging. Remark:- with proper design package to cater different needs, sometimes even sensitive skin can use Time Wise range. Best example - myself.

For pampering:- Botanical series have Mask 1 - dry skin, Mask 2 - combination & Mask 3 - oily. My skin is combination with dehydrate cheeks and a few pimples breakout on chin area. So, i apply Mask 3 on pimples only by dotting them thickly then spread Mask 2 on T-zone and finally Mask 1 on cheeks. Leave it on for 15 mins. Wet fingers and rub on the mask against skin before washing off. Skin instantly hydrates and clean. After that, will apply skincare night regime but will mix pea size moisturizing cream (contains gold pigment) with oil-free moisturizing gel and slightly more hydrate than usual - soak empty sheetmask with botanical freshen 1 ( for dry skin, so the hydration level is highest than 2 & 3) - spread over face and spray 1 time of freshen 1 all over and leave it for 10- 15 mins. Intermittently, spray filter water or boil water over the sheet to keep it moist right up till the time is up.

For eyes:- Uses Time Wise roller on, with citrus smells and on top of it will dab soothing eye gel.

For lips:- Invested on Lip set. Come with lip mask and lip balm. Apply lip mask on lips and leave it for 1-2 mins. Wet fingers and rub before rinsing. Apply lip balm after. Lips stay moist throughout the day and even longer. Reduces lines and improves dry lips.

The products just absorb easily without greasiness or oiliness on the surface, at the same time really hydrates skin from inner to outer. For pimples, will not inflame or flare which mean less redness and obvious. Invested on pore serum but have not tried yet, perhaps tonight :) Was advised by my teacher to use it when I do mask. Will unclog pores with impurities coming out easily. DO NOT EVER SQUEEZE the impurities but use lip mask to rub on it after rinsing the mask away. The impurities will just come off.

Outcome of using these products:- skin is silky smooth. Pimples recovering, by using Vitamin C serum, speeds up scar recovery.

Best part of it is it is an independent career path for full or part time. Very flexi hours so is best suited for me as now I have to cater for my son's schooling needs and after school's needs. With halfday school time, I am off to office for my main job. I have time during noon when my son is napping which leaves me free for a few hours. Plus,  I can learn beauty tips for my usage and also share the beauty tips with other women. Something of my interest, that is why I give it a go. I already received my starter bag yesterday to begin my career with Mary Kay Incorp.

OMG! My baby boy is now entering Pre-school phase :)

Yup! My baby Yu Kai is now going to school. I send him to Cherie Hearts of Singapore origin management company. It is also located nearby my house. Kai is now 23 months old. He started school on 1st Nov. First 3 days were disastrous. He cried non stop and went hysterically out of control. 2nd and 3rd days were even worst because he remembered the route to his school. So, imagine my nightmare began from the ride from home all the way to school :)

Lucky for me..my son 180 degrees changed on his 4th day to school. He knew he was on his way to school. He sat very quietly on his car seat until he reached school. During the journey, I kept giving him prep talk. Soothing talk..whatever..just to prevent him erupting..haha..He only cried abit when reached but no longer hysterical. Needless to say, 5th day was a smooth sailing day. He did not fuss at all. He carried his own bag and he walked into school himself. I am so proud of my beloved baby boy. On this day, on my way to office, tears well up in my eyes. Why?! Because the memory of him so obedient, I was so touched. That was my 1st reason. 2nd, he swung away my hand when he saw his teacher approaching. He was so anxious that he ran up to the door trying to unlock. 3rd, he only waved goodbye to mummy on his teacher's instruction..haha..When he waved, he was abit going to burst into crying so I thought I quickly soothe him by saying "its ok, mummy will come fetch you very soon..see you later"..Alas, I did not even finish that sentence, he already turned and ran into his school hand in hand with his teacher name, Teacher Annie :) Teacher Annie gave him a sayang kiss on his 4th day to reward him for not crying :)

Well I hope sending school now will be at ease. Importantly, I hope Kai enjoys his school and learns more things from there and last but not least, socialize and mingle well with the children and teachers there.

Mother & Son Bonding Moments

I proudly announce that my son Yu Kai is getting manageable :) Hopefully, he will grow up healthy & wise and obedient :) He used to be a difficult little boy who drained my energy and I had to keep up with his fussy & crankiness. For the past week, I spend more time with him as usually my dad will help me to care for him after work. I take over the caring part after work as my dad is in overseas. Amazingly, my little boy has a different behavior now..I am so surprised that taking care of him is no longer draining but it turns out being FUN! From being dislike hassle, now I enjoy every moments with him. Shockingly to say this :- I am constantly looking forward to go home now and I even plan what to do with him after work. 

I am very happy that he is now into Lego building. Starts off with Mega Blocks. He loves stacking and dismantling. Besides running around and be little rascal, he can now sit and play for awhile. Of course, the toys must fascinate him to bind his butt down..hehehe...He can now understand and listen to what I tell him. He is less stubborn and also less fighting back. I strongly believe he happens to be a good boy because I spend more time with him and patience with him. Less scolding him so he is more happy and willing to listen than despise me. He still does some naughty actions that I said no to but the occurance is much lesser now and not that drastic. 

He is way too smart boy that is why sometimes I feel that difficult times with him are because he know what he wants and he is well aware of his surrounding at a very early age. Like a tiger fighting for its' survival :) So happens to be his zodiac that is why he caters some of the tiger's criteria :) Afterall, he is just a simple plain boy who enjoys fun time and wants constant playing. I have faith in my little boy when he starts pre-school that he will excel and definitely will show me another amazing side of him that is hidden in him. I know he will continue to amaze me :) I know and pray hard that he will be an obedient and healthy boy many years to come :)!

Facial Special Care

Out of so many masks experience, the best and really works on my skin is Silk Whitia Q10 product of Hong Kong - RM55.90 per box with 5 pcs/box - easily available at SaSa. I have scars on my chin and after 1st mask, the scars seem to lighten ALOT. Yes, I do mean ALOT! The outcome is amazing. By using normal skincare regime, the scars will recover but take time for cell renewal. But when you add some special care to your skin, Q10 is best for skin healing or renewal - whatsoever. Conclusion:- I use this mask everyday as the box stated recommended for daily use for best result. So, after 4 applications, some mild scars already fade away and those obvious scars lightens up and also become smaller. For one or two pimples, it expedites the maturing and recovering progress. How can I not love it? From research of Q10 and also told by a close friend that Q10 is for collagen purpose. Very good for wound healing. Must be very true :) Either you consume pills or you use mask. After a week, my skin is almost pimples and scars free. I will not say I will have porcelain skin as I am very much an acne prone skin type but with well maintain and careful using of products, my skin is very much well maintained now.

Additionally, I am using Kose White Mask. It is of black color mask and when it dries off, need to peel it off. If you know how to use, you will love it. Read a few reviews, many dislike because of difficult application plus it hurts during removal time. On my own experience I would say I do not have those experience at all. NONE! Firstly, press out around 2 cm long on your middle and ring finger and spread over forehead, chin, nose and cheeks area avoiding eye and lip area. Continue with 2 cm each time not more. If too much definitely will drip and messy. Application should be thin coverage - meaning just enough to cover skin but not too thick layer. Secondly, when feel tight sensation, is time to peel it off. Before peeling, check every part of the mask to make sure it is dry. Do not leave for too long or too tight. The reason why I said do not apply too thick, is difficult to completely dry so when certain parts already dry and you are waiting for those wet area to dry, you will hurt the over-dry part when you remove it. When you apply just nicely, you will not feel painful during removal. Final tip:- before application, you can use Infinity serum/other range moisturizer on cheeks as cheeks area are less oily. Peeling time will not hurt. NOTE: just apply thin layer of moisturizer.

Recently, I bought Kose Seikkisei Herbal Esthetics mask and Seikisho Exfoliating gel. Promoters of different counters kept asking me to use Herbal mask and I do not know why. They kept saying is good. Since my skin is now stable down, I am afraid of another breakout. But when I voice my concern, they said it actually help pimples skin - eg. they personally had breakouts and pregnant lady had breakouts also used this mask along with Seikkisei Lotion. One of the promoters said it is to cleanse inner deep skin layer while White Mask and Exfoliating gel are for surface impurities, blackhead and whiteheads. I have not used the Exfoliating gel yet, will blog about it when I start using. On the other hand, my 1st experience on Herbal mask was immediately appeared 3 pimples. Not major ones but considered mild. If is not too bad after subsequent days, I will still continue using. Not too sure is it deep cleanse into skin layer so the popping is actually detoxing my skin or what. If this is the stage that I need to endure in seeking healthy skin, I will continue to use as future after proper cleansed I am sure I will have less sensitivity towards pimples breakouts in the future perhaps. Afterall is not that bad as the popping already have pus head so it comes and goes fast.

My Personal Review of Skincare Products - Part 2

If you have been following my blog, I blogged on a skincare review in Sept. I am solely using Kose products for almost 3 months now. I cannot describe how remarkable this products are to my skin. With simple words to describe will be - Magnificent, Superb. Like I said before, each time I was hit with bad skin condition, Kose is the only rescue remedy to my skin. This is my 3rd time returning to Kose regime. Since I am now into my 30s', I am mature enough not to skincare-hop again..hehehe..HOPEFULLY..:) Right from my teens till now, almost 2 decades into using Kose, I think this is the right products for me to settle on.

The Infinity range is superb and really delivers moist into skin. Skin feels comfortably throughout the day. Simple steps - Lotion & Serum. So, is a thumbs-up for busy women on the go. Easily absorb into skin which is good as it can function the benefits as promised in the ad for healthy glowing moist skin. Astringent is not a must but I do use. It is a toner used after serum, for tightening pores so that it can control sebum secretion. Face won't easily oily and can last throughout the day with matte cum radiance skin. The secretion won't be much, just nice to give skin radiance. For night regime, after cleansing will use Clear Force - acts like scrub but it is in liquid form by using cotton to rub against face avoiding eye and lip area - remove impurities - for daily use.

Comparison between Infinity Oil Cleansing Cream and Seikisho Cleansing Oil - I prefer Seikisho cleansing oil because when contact with water, easily wash off as for Infinity oil cleansing cream, when contact with water, still can feel some oiliness on the surface. Pro and con will be these items are for makeup removal or double cleanse purpose. So in long run, in order not to strip skin, best is use Infinity over Seikisho. Since after this step, will use a facial cleanser. For sensitive skin or acne prone skin, best is not to over strip skin. My personal recommendation will be use alternately.

Seikisho facial soap is very good for acne prone skin as it contains an ingredient that curb pimple from forming. Also, during cleansing will remove melanin and other impurities that cause pimple breakouts. Skin feels clean and refreshing after washing. For cleanser purpose, do not wash too long. Allow 30 seconds on skin is sufficient already. Since skin is already cleansed 1st step mention above, remember, do not over strip face skin.

Next, since I am progressing well, I add another bottle into my regime called Moisture Skin Repair - Rice extract. It is known rice water is superb to skin. Therefore, I use this after cleansing face and before lotion. It is just a rice water so it is easily absorb without greasiness or oiliness thereafter. I realized after applying the rice water, subsequent applications are easily absorb into skin and also retain skin moisture. I can see by using this rice extract, scars heal faster. Something like expedite the skin renewal process :)

Previously I am using Laneige dual eye cream. My mom said is nto good to use SPF on eye area since the skin around the eye area is very fragile and thin. SPF is for UV-block so maybe too strong for the eye area skin. As to how true this is I am not sure. So far, there is none eye products that come with SPF or even so, I am sure not many. The infamous Dual eye cream is Day cream comes with SPF 25+ and Night cream without SPF. After using, I do not find anything in particular except my eye area skin feels tight and dry most of the time. So, now I am using Kose Infinity Eye Cream for day and night. It is without SPF and it is rich in moisture neither oily not greasy after application. Skin feels comfy, no longer uptight.

Sunblock is a MUST USE AND HAVE!! It is the step that can help in prevention of skin aging due to harmfulness of UV and other exposure. It also prevent sunburn. For my skin, is easily blushed. So by using sunblock can prevent sunburn when I am out under sun for too long. For dry skin people, by using sunblock can help prevent freckles.

Yu Kai's progress - age 22 months

It's been awhile I last update my dear boy's progress. He has grown so much not in terms of his height and weight but more on mentality. He starts to say more words and he is definately a smart boy. He understands what we are saying about. He is a firm boy too, he stands firm on things he wants and not. He will shake his head to let you know he does not want something that you give or tell him. If you do not get what he means by goo-goo-gaa-gaa, he will fuss until he gets what he wanted, which means you finally understand his jargons :) He knows alot of things now - vocab is increasing. Which makes communication much more easier now. He practically knows everything ranging from raining - aeroplane (practically all vehicle) - grasscutter - toyshop - gurney plaza - food (mum-mum to him :)) - shoes - bottle - bag - shower - so forth....on and on..He now will let us know when he pee and poo. Although, he does not wait to be given potty for him to release. He just informs us and continues to pee and poo in his pampers. Am sure potty training will be easier when the time comes.
       For now, he will not stray far when comes to meal time. So, our meal time is so enjoyable with him. All he wants at the restaurant is keep feeding him!! haha...As for toys he plays, he knows shapes now. He likes playing the shapes we bought him. He loves ball. He likes to play ball :) He is a helpful boy too. He willingly help us whenever we ask favour from him, such as, bring me the newspaper, bring this bag/bottle to cheche (maid), help me carry this or that...so much fun now!!! Hehehe...
        He will be starting pre-school very soon. In about another month time. I am looking forward to his progress in school :)

My Personal Make-up Experience

I love to paint my face. Hehehe...I started to make-up when I was in my teens. Since then my skin has been a disaster. Perhaps, I did not cleanse well and when I was hit with problem, the more I rushed to recover it, the more mistakes I had done. So, in the end besides not helping, my skin resistance got worst. After more than a decade, I started to make-up again.
      My skin improved alot since giving birth. So, I gave make-up a try. Kick start with:-

Dior

Tried Skin Nude Liquid Foundation and Pressed Powder. The liquid foundation contains spring water so during application can feel cooling effect on skin. Finishing is very nice and natural and yet not thick. The powder can add to control sebum. Hence, skin looks matte throughout the day. If oil does happen, just blot it with blotting paper or tissue off. Skin will look instant matte and fresh. No negative reaction to it. A very good products to try on.

Clinique

Since I am prone to breakouts, I tried Even Better foundation and Mineral Loose Powder. Result - disappointment. First, the foundation is thick and visibly obvious one has put on a foundation. Second, the loose powder looks cakey. It is even worst when noon comes as face tends to be oily and instantly skin looks darker and powdery uneven-ness. No negative reaction to it. But not recommended.

Laneige

Thumbs up for this brand make-up. Used Dual Foundation and Loose Powder. Perfect combination and absolutely natural finishing veil. Even right up till the end of the day. Will not feel something sticky on face instead comfy and fresh. No cakey effect and after blotting away the oil, skin still look matte and fresh. Even out skin texture and pores are covered visibly. 100% no negative reaction.
     Tried BB Cushion Foundation. It is sweat-proof. Cooling on application as it contains spring water. But not suitable for pimples skin as it may cause breakouts.

Voila..If you have been following my posts, my previous post was on Skincare. Now, my skin is very much improved after using Kose - radiance, refine texture, pores shrink, no reddish skin..so, I no longer apply foundation. I simply enjoy my current face. Looks so much moist and plump :)

Present, I still use mascara and liner on off basis.

My Personal Review of Skincare Products

Never blog on anything else besides my own personal life and family. What make me to blog on skincare? Well, have been spending thousands on skincare and makeup for the past 3 months. I have a habit of browsing in depth on the items I am using via google (reading other posts up by users), youtube and the brand website. Hence, leading me to come up with my own personal review :)

Herbaline (Duration: approxi. 1 yr)

First, I need to clarify here that Herbaline has no relation with Herbalife. People always tend to mix this up. Herbaline has its own range of skincare and salon on spa and facial. I was introduced to it by a casual friend who saw me with pimply chin after delivery of my first born. I always have pimples throughout my teens till adulthood - on off basis. Naturally, after my first born, my cystic acne cut down to only on chin area. Had been using the skincare for pimples skin plus frequent facials at its salon, eventually I got rid of my pimples:). After my amazing experience and result, I have been introducing to people who have pimples to pay Herbaline a visit before settling down to any specific skincare brand counters.
     As to why i change? Even though I got rid of my pimples, my skin still dehydrates as my skin still look abit reddish and my pores were big and visible. Resulted by pro-long squeezing of blackhead during facial. It has no skincare range on pore care. The only way to solve my open pores and occasional breakouts are to do its Light emitting facial - meaning, it uses a technology to scan through my skin that emits strong light and burnt smells. It does not provide proper glasses to protect eyes from the strong lighting. Even with shuteyes and cotton covers on eyes, the light still piercing through my eyes annoyingly. So, I refuse to do such facial after experience it. Moving on to the next skincare brand...

Clinique (Duration: a couple of months)

A good brand. Economical. The 3 Steps is simple enough and yet work well with my skin. Soon, I got bored of it..hehehe...not improving to the extend of not giving me more refine texture, radiance and suppleness I am looking for. No doubt, it really does not give breakouts. Blemishes are controlled. Moving on to the next skincare brand...

Clarins (Duration: 2 months)

During my pregnancy, I visited Clarins counter for its infamous essential oil, which i rubbed on my tummy to prevent stretch mark and itchiness. I stopped using after a few application because it is greasy and oily which I dislike. I have been using Clarins bodywash (choices of 2 colors - yellow or blue) since 3 years ago until present. During pregnancy, I had problem with itchy stretching skin especially on tummy area. Only Clarins yellow bodywash can soothe my skin. Been loving it until now. Considered a loyal customer on bodywash line.
     I did try its skincare after delivery and after my Clinique experience. Not suitable for me. Eventually, caused breakouts after a couple of weeks into using it. The problem with cystic acne is it leaves behind a scar which takes weeks to heal. It spreads easily to other neighbouring area too. So, even I might not have pimples but the scars might cause misunderstanding to people thinking the scar is pimples plus the real acne - result was a massive disappointment - red mark here and there, cystic acne bumps here and there.
     Tried Clarins facial. It is special and different from other types of facial services. Clarins has no extraction session. It is more on massage with essential oils to regulate and detox by itself after the session. So, it is a big no-no for me as it is not helping on my blemishes and blackheads.

So, at this stage I stopped using counters skincare. I used back Herbaline pimples range skincare until my blemishes were recovered. I went for facial at Herbaline too to speed up the recovery. NOTE: Facial can clear off the blemishes' pus and dirty blood. Proper antiseptic to prevent infection and spreading. Hence, can reveal skin without pimples. For cystic acne, it can mature the acne into pus and extract out in a proper way. From reduce to stablize the skin. Moving on to the next skincare brand...

Shiseido (Duration: approxi. 6 months)

I used this products before during my teens. The Pureness range is good in combating pimples skin. However, all pimples range products are always dry. Lead to strong dehydration - back to old redness skin with open pores. In my teens, I used this brand and range for 1-2 years diligently. Now, in my adulthood I tried using again. But this time I had better skin comparatively in my teens. So, I used its The Skincare range which is for hydration. To prevent breakouts, during the day I used Pureness range and during the night The Skincare. If I felt dry, I would use The Skincare moisturizer during the day. Result was good after some time but longer run, breakouts and dryness appeared. Too concerntrate on Pureness would give me dryness, too concerntrate on The Skincare would give me breakouts.

Facial experience given by Shiseido Counter:- Ok, not too bad. Typical facial procedure. Prefer Herbaline facial more because Herbaline provides more massage towards halfbody and arms.

Once again, I stopped using or partially mixed with Herbaline pimples range to stablize my skin. NOTE: Never throw away products that you are not using anymore when you change to new brand products. Cause, you will never know when you will need it when the new ones not working out well for your skin. Moving on to the next skincare brand...

Laneige (Duration: 1-2 months)

A very good Korean skincare range I must say :) I started off with its Sensitive Refiner Lotion, Sensitive Emulsion and Gel Cream Water Bank moisturizer. It is a MIRACLE!! My skin hydrates instantly. Say bye-bye to my reddish face..hehehe..It gives glowing but not oiliness shine. I do not feel tight and dry. I feel waterful!! Amazing isn't it? I am actually using the word WATERFUL..:) Laneige delivers what its' advertisement promised. The infamous Sleeping Pack is a very good live-on overnight mask. The next day, your skin is moisturized. Very good products for people who have dehydrates skin and also people who are always expose to air-conditioned environment. Add on will be its' Pore care line. I absolutely love its Meltdown Blackhead Gel and Remover Strips. Work wonder on my nose blackheads. Remove my blackheads well. Pore Clear Essence matures my pimples and heals them. Scars fade faster. Helps to reduce clog pores. Pore Tightening Essence visibly reduce my open pores within a few days to a couple of weeks into using.
     I changed brand again due to after a trip back from Singapore, my chin started to have cystic acne again. I do not know what caused this but during that trip I used Laneige Water Bank series. Must be too rich for my skin. I do not use back Sensitive range after my breakouts, instead, Moving on to the next skincare brand...

SK-II (Duration: Present)

For blemish skin, it is strongly advised not to use SK-II. It is famous for richness in its products. However, pimple skin people can use Clear Lotion which has AHA function to remove dead cells and impurities and the infamous Facial Treatment Essence - use it has essence by cotton pad or as mask. Get cotton sheet mask and soak it with the pitera essence and spread over face, remove after 5-10mins. Instantly radiant my face. For my breakouts, can actually mature it. Pores are visibly shrinked. Skin texture is much refined. I love the mask (economical way i mean, DIY, soak and spread method :)), so i do 3-4 times per week. Done the facial once to remove my cystic acne. Facial experience was wonderful and comfy. I did not breakout after that session. Will consider to do the facial again :) Moving on to the next skincare brand...

Kose (Duration: Present)

I am a good hopper..hehehe..I have the habit of not sticking to one product forever after :) no matter the result is good or bad. I must admit that Kose is a very very good products. My mom has been using for decades loyally. In my teens, I had full pimples skin face. Forehead, cheeks, chin, u name it, i had it. After using Seikisho facial soap and Seikisei lotion. My skin responded well to these steps. I must give credits to this range as my skin from pimples to radiance spotless skin. Not a single redness, neither pimples nor scars and open pores. Only radiance glowing skin - not oiliness shine but healthy shine. Since, I love hopping around, eventually breakouts and poor skin happened again. So, when i used back Kose, It did not respond well. So, I keep changing and changing in terms to look for a radiant healthy skin back.
     Here I am, in my adulthood now, I am going back to Kose again. This time I am using the Infinity range. I cannot believe it that first application, I already can see result. My cystic acne reduced in size, redness disappear. So, it appears tiny red dot acne scar but the surrounding no longer reddish. The acne eventually heal. I get back my radiance, healthy glow. Pores refined too. No longer dehydrates - leaves my skin a healthy pinkish skin. :) Since, I still have my SK-II lotion and Essence, I plan to finish them off and continue using Kose. Kose has done a lot for me as each time when I got hit with poor skin, Kose somehow recovers the skin for me. This time, I hope i learn my lesson and STOP hopping...hehehe...As for now, I love the result! :) So I am sticking to it...

August Extravaganza!

Time flies so does days passby very quickly and now is already end of August 2012. I celebrated my birthday this month amazingly with hubby and son. Got a Burberry bag from hubby. Feasted at Traders Hotel's coffee house. A la carte - mamak mee, nasi lemak, coffees and ice kacang. Yummy delicious!! Big portion and tasty food. My family celebrated with me a week earlier at Yin & Yang restaurant of G Hotel. Was a Sunday lunch, the set lunch is great - a few choices of chinese cuisine for us to mix & match plus soup and dessert of the day. Good meal with tasty food too!

For Raya holidays (approx. 1 week), went to Singapore. Cedric was a little different behaviour on the flight comparatively when he was 10 months old then. He did not fuss or cried for no reason. This time he is 20 months old boy. All he wanted was to play and move around which was also difficult to handle during flight. He despises to listen, is a great rebellious little tyrant. Hehehe..So for short flight will be bearable, long haul flight is a BIG NO-NO. :(:(  The improvement in this trip compared to last year were less thing to bring along, slept with us and babycot (provided by hotel), less crying - even he cried also because he refused to sleep, all he wanted was to PLAY, so any obstruction by us - he would go mad :), kai kai-ing became so easy and during meal time, he was good as he joint eating with us. He loved to eat so easily bind him on high chair till we got through our meal. He drained his energy during the trip so making him slept easily after milk during noon and night.

As for myself, I am famous and well known for shopping spree at Singapore. However, this trip I did not shop for anything. Isn't it SHOCKING?!! :) Bascially, I enjoyed my trip with my family and hubby and son! Had great food and time!

Another day's work then will be holiday for National Day. Another long weekends :) September coming, chinese lunar calendar for August is coming up so wishing everyone reading my post a very Happy Mid Autumn Festival.

Horrible Cursed July

Oh well, finally today is the last day of July. Still in time to note down my July happenings. Start with an accident to my car. It was finally fixed last weekend, after a month wait as the accident occured on 2nd July. Had to go through some rough sessions with the service centre people to get things done. Kinda upset over thier service. Move on, I hit my head against my dad's car boots' steel hook while putting things in. Severe pain and had dizziness for the next few days and couple of days back saw a bump and felt painful. So, not sure that bump is resulted from the concussion or pimples :) Plan to leave it aside and monitor for the next few days.

When one is in 17th floor down the Hell's Gate luck, it is superbly scary. Why?! Because I cut my forehead against my own car boots' compartment. A big gash and deeply worried will leave a scar behind. For now, the bruise area's skin has dried up. So, will see how bad the cut will leave me behind. I even got cuts on my thumb from removing seal from mosquito repellent container.

How funny right? All happened in 1 month. I plan to move on and I hope I will have better lucks and days ahead. Oh August, please cleanse away my bad luck and protect me from now on!!

My Baby's Progress

Aloha! Half of June has passed..half year is almost gone in year 2012. My baby is now 1.5 yrs old. He is very active and kind of smart too. Start can interact with him. So is getting better now comparatively to when he was much younger. Smart as in, he knows quite a few things and can understand as well. Educating kicks in now as he shows sign of temperamental behaviour. Still not letting him walks by himself as he runs all the time and trips most of the time too. I do not understand why he loves to run instead of walking slowly.

Yesterday, brought him to Toys R Us to play awhile then to Cold Storage to sit on the trolley and let him touch cold items at the fruits/vege section then carried him walked awhile before went for a short drive before back home. Just him and I. So far so good. Will do it again this week. Hopefully manageable. He finds balloon fascinating and best part is he recognizes quite a few things already. Give him 3 different kind of books, he can point dog and said it correctly. Now into balloon picture but he still cannot say the word yet. Outside on the go, he will point at things and make sound to let you know eventhough he does not say the word yet. But, when you said the word, he knows.

He picks up sayang gesture recently, he will sayang me all the time :) which is kinda fun :) He picks up yawning from daddy - yawn with sigh-ing sound! Next Monday will be jab day for him, hope doc visit is pleasant. Last visit he was a goodboy. I hope from now on he shows good behaviour during doc visit instead of kicking up a fuss and crying out loud.

People around me is getting pregnant. In fact, many people are pregnant this year either deliver by this year or next. I am so happy for them. Many are having girls :) God bless to everyone!

May is a Horrible Month

The endless ensuing "bungalows" that Ced keeps building..hehe..May 1st was his 1st followed by 14th, a not severe hit on wooden table and then again on 15th, a severe hit on cement floor - all 3 the same spot at his middle forehead :((. That is not all, he became "Superman" on 20th from bed to wooden floor - head down 1st!! gosh!! The 4th blueblack slightly left from middle forehead.

This month also a month where Ced is crankier than usual. Refusing milk these few days but eating his porridge, cereal, biscuits, practically anything except sucking his milk. Therefore, we have to spoonfeed him, at least he drinks by that way. Funny is, he is very fond of sucking water from bottle. He can bottle down several bottles of 4 ounces of plain water a day.

He fell sick a week ago. Down with fever due to throat infection. Lasted 3-4 days with fever on and off. Paed prescribed only paracetamol and re-liv mouthdrops and said will only give Ced antibiotics if his fever is not away by 4th day. Thank God!! He recovered from fever on the 4th day but the throat infection was not recovered totally yet. Then now, he is having flu and cough. Apart from that, he is into habit of putting his entire fist into his mouth and eventually causing him to vomit. At times he seems uncomfy with his inner mouth which I do not know why but since paed had seen his mouth before, I suppose he is going to get his new molar teeth soon. Another sign that he may be growing teeth is he drools alot.

I am super duper tired. I just hope good days will come for Cedric. I pray for his recovery and good health ahead! God if you hear me, please bless Cedric with better days ahead. I will deeply appreciate your blessings :) Thank you :)

Cedric Got His 1st "Bungalow"

On labour day - 1st May 2012..Ced got his 1st "bungalow". Yup, not a real bungalow but got a bump on his forehead. Brought him to see paed on that public holiday which was charged double. Luckily, nothing major and was told to monitor him for symptoms such as vomit or tired or not his usual self - these are signs for potential skull crack or damage to brain. Otherwise, is just superficial injury which will heal by itself without doing anything on it.

Well, i suppose he will fall more often now as he is now walking more steadily compared to previously. Previously, he was afraid of hitting/falling so he was more cautious than now. Meaning, he would walk/stand by holding/grabbing on something and more slower than now. Now, he is running :) To make it worse, he refuses to be held. He is quite an independant boy which comes with pro and con :)

He is getting naughtier and naughtier. And smarter too. But he is not afraid of my scolding or beating. He will repeat improper act again and again. Now, his new habits are to grab my glasses and scratch my face!! Ouch! The only thing he responds to my beating and scolding is CRYING! and then, back to repeating the act. Hhmmpphh...Educating is such a tedious work - especially on a stubborn and naughty boy. On the other hand, he can recognize Gurney Plaza Mall..hehehe...whenever we passby without turning in, he will kick up a fuss :). He will be very delighted when we turn in :) In short, he loves kaikai-ing - just like mommy!! :) He is more responsive and understand things we tell him now.

HFMD & Short Trip

It was quite an eventful month for hub, ah b & me. To start of with, my son got HFMD!! Nope, he is not at school going age yet. He is a home cared toddler. He got it from his cousin, who is a school going boy - who also infected by HFMD a week before I noticed symptoms of it on my son too. Paed confirmed the diagnosis and said Ah B needed to be admitted as HFMD for under 3 yrs old is considered dangerous because it may affect a baby's heart & brain. Thankfully, Ah B recovered fast and he was not cranky at all. He still ate, slept & played as usual. 2 days later, I was infected too!! I was even severed than my son. I was so relieved to use my son's left over oral medication and skin cream. The oral was very effective and recovered fast but the rashes on my skin got worse and worse each day. At the end of 2 weeks, quarantined finally was lifted :)

A week after HFMD episode, hubby and I left for KL trip. A very very short trip. We started our journey at 4am, Saturday and returned at 1pm, sunday. Overnight at The Gardens Hotel & Residences, Mid Valley. Purpose of the trip was to fix a better inter-cooler, carbon fibre roof & skirting and Milltech sport performance exhausts. While hubby fixing the car, I was enjoying my day at Sunway Pyramid Mall - shopping, relaxing at starbucks with hot green tea latte & choco banana cake, popiah and stick ice-cream. We had dinner at Mid Valley mall - nyonya food then headed to Tong Pak Fu desserts shop. On our way back to hotel, we bought McD :) The next morning, we had delicious lunch at a taiwan restaurant at The Gardens before leaving KL.

Finally Ced Doesn't Want Mommy To Go To Work!

Hahaha...that is right! I think I am going to strike jackpot..hehe..1st time ever, Ced cried and jumped up and down when i came to work this morning..Usually, before i left house, he would wave and smile at me..but today is a different scene all together :) I had to admit, he melted my heart away..

How sweet and nice to end my March 2012 :)

Cedric - 15 months

Ced is now 15months old. Another scene at his paediatrician's room again..hehe..He dislikes doc & nurse to touch him, needless to say removing his clothing and pampers to be measured & weighed!! :) Everytime, he will fuss and cry until the jab is finalized. This time, he slapped his paed, grabbing and pulling the measuring tape away and best of all knows how to scold people already..So far, lil kaikai is progressing well and fine - very important to me that he keeps his health healthy!! Thank God for blessing my darling kaikai. Food wise and to keep him on table while mommy & daddy eat is much more easier now as he can share our food. But then, now he has been promoted to toddler title, no longer baby anymore...he is difficult to handle. Sleeps lesser, wants to play when he is not sleeping - and i mean real playing all the time to the extend of refusing to sleep. It is so much tiring now as his hobby now is to crawl & walk to everywhere he wants and to touch anything he is curious about :) He is fast so we need to follow up and is really draining our energy.

Cedric has developed a new temperamental behaviour which is screaming. Oh well, he no longer afraid of my scolding and beating as each time i do, he no longer cries..hehe...in fact, he scolds me in return..not in words but shout..haha...He is a very cranky boy as he wants his way. Refusing or obstructing him means war with him..haha..Denying him on whatever he wants, means end up I have to face his struggling and crying and screaming endlessly..is getting difficult to coax him as he is smarter now.

When he was about 9 mths old, he had flu and cough. Resulting him difficult to sleep during night time. He would wake in the middle of the nights crying. Since then, after he recovered, he still continues to wake in the middle of the nights screaming and crying. Before that, he was a good sleeper throughout the night. But now, it is a nightmare when comes to night time. On better nights, he will only wake once or not severe crying, on bad nights, he will wake a few times a night. I won't have enough rest and sleep too :)

Since he is a colicky child, some elders advice to cut off gassy food for him and to apply medicated oil before sleeps and to give him chinese gas relieve powder. Tried and it seemed to improve a little. He either sleeps throught the night or cries once. Still, not a good sleeper as I can hear him tossing and turning alot. It has been awhile, every night I will give him his milk bottle on my bed and allow him to sleep by himself on my bed. Once he asleeps, will move him to his cot.

Googled some info on night baby crying and downloaded a story titled "How I Behave Today?" - plan to read to him every night before bed while lil kaikai is in his cot. Hope by letting him sleep by himself on his own cot will help him sleeps by himself without crying for mama at night. Hope when April comes, things will improve!!

Be My Valentine!

It was a remarkable "day" for me. Yup, my day word was special because on the exact Valentines' Day, it was just another ordinary day for me. Whereby, i went to work and back home as usual. Hubby was busy with work on this special day. So, why was it so remarkable? hehehe...

Well, we celebrated it earlier - on a Sunday. Planned to have a nice lunch at Italiannies, Paragon but it was full so we went to TGIF. Had chicken cutlet burger and prawn and chicken pasta. After that, went to Italiannies for coffee & tiramisu cake. However, tiramisu cake was sold out so i changed to Creme Brule. It was a real disappointment as the coffee was so terrible. No coffee taste at all neither milk taste, only sweetness and the color was so pale that even Teh Tarik has darker color than it. Here came my Creme Brule which was hot in some parts and some cold, worst, it was goddamn sweet AGAIN!! haha...

Moved on to our movie - The Grey. Hubby insisted to get real proper nice cuppa coffee for me but i declined as i was way too full :) Instead, bought Chatime pearl milk tea as I wanted to chew on the pearl :) Didn't really enjoy the drink only the chewable pearl :) After movie we went back home to our cozy nest. Snuggle up on our bed over our favourite TVB series. Yahoooo....Soon was our Ah B and dinner time...Didn't really have a nice cuppa yet..Our dinner was at Cheeky Duck, Straits Quay. Once again, hubby insisted on getting a coffee from Full of Bean House since i complained so much of my bad day without a proper coffee :) The coffee there is costly but the aroma is good because is pure coffee. One can choose the bean from the varieties list of bean names. Hubby said " cham lo, today suppose to celebrate valentines day with you and you said it is a bad day".. hehehe...

Then on Monday night (Valentine Eve), hubby came home with a bouquet of flowers for me. He never done that before because to him, it is very unworthy to get flowers on such occassion. I love him so much! Smitten by him! haha...Not on the flowers BUT on his thoughts!! He has his ways of making me miss him and love him and hug him tight! :) Happy Valentines Day to everyone!!

I am so HAPPY - yet another touching surprise :)

Well, if you have been following my blog - you will notice i am in superb mood when hubby lavishes me with expensive gifts - especially those i long for. In my previous blogs, one can come upon my 1st great surprise of a Cartier Trinity Ring which i had been longing for for 3 years. It supposed to be another common gift which i do not need to exaggerate on. But what it made it so special on this gift was my hubby did not know i had been longing for this and yet we browsed Cartier website almost the same time on each end of the globe. He was on his usual business trip, we kept in touched via Skype - while communicating, we viewed the website without us knowing. Wasn't it so coincident? Plus, it is a gift for me delivering of our baby boy.

Moving on, after 1 year had past. My hubby surprised me yet another gift which i intended to get while we were holidaying at Singapore. I wanted to get a Chanel purse at Marina Bay Sands. I ended without buying. Guess what?! My hubby bought the exact purse that i wanted when he was on his trip again. I did not share with him about my intention of getting that purse way back at Singapore but he made the right decision on getting this particular model for me. I am truely surprised and touched. Even more so when he said he knows well of my heart :)

BLISSFUL LIFE

Happy Dragon Year to everyone that is reading my blog now...byebye to 2011 and welcome my 2012..hehehe...so far, my 2012 is starting off GREAT :)...initially, i thought this year will be a bad year for me since my end 2011 was not so good :)..Thank you God for blessing me again and again..I really do appreciate it :)

First, I made a terribly wrong action with my silly attitude days before new year day. Even so, my hubby still stood by me and endured through the period with me..while walking to Straits Quay from our house on the eve of new year...at night...we had a nice little chat about my misunderstanding...suddenly, i felt a big heavy rock was put down from my shoulder...i felt so relieved and happy and yet stupid of my narrow minded-ness..my hubby still loves me after all these years..and i nearly ruined it with my stupidity. That was my happiest walk and moment. So, that night while watching the fireworks and counting down to 01-01-2012, i grinned all the time :) and i couldn't stop thinking of how blissful i am..lesson learnt again from this is to control my temper :) God has shown me my wrong from this situation and ended it with such a sweet and happy moment for my hubby & I - in hopes that we can cherish and love each other on and on..

Second, my sweet tigger boy..hehe..my dearie son is so much adorable and funny as he grows. More funny actions appear from him..and also getting naughty now..hehe..curiosity kicks in now..so is getting difficult to handle him..he wants to be here and there, touch this and that. Also the time of eating new food. Fed him beancurd, ice cream, papaya, banana, apple, noodle and more congee, varieties of biscuits, egg & yogurt (both he dislikes :) )..in short, start sharing certain food with me while we dine. Aside some crankiness and fussiness, basically a good boy too :) from here, I can understand that God has bestowed me a bond that comes with responsibilities, commitment and sacrifices to our offspring :) Whatever the ups and downs in raising my son, I'm always proud of myself for being growing up so much now and cherish the moment i share with my own blood and flesh - my son :)

Third, had a nice chinese new year with my family to kicktstart with. Lashed out my point and stated my point clearly. I can see some changes now..so I am starting to ease down and control my temper and be forever forgiving 'God of Mercy' :) I don't want to be calculative and think too much of it anymore. I will try to ease myself so that negativity won't build up inside me. Lesson learnt from this is to stay calm and think in depth before upsetting myself  & family :) Again, God has unmasked certain things to make me see clearly to reduce my disgruntle. By treating everyone nice instead of hard feelings will give joy to everyone and reduce the possibilities of regret in later life :)

How can I not be grateful for every nice good things happen? Sometimes, bad things come by to remind me how fortunate and bless i am so that i can continue cherish my life. When bad times come, means forbidding me to take things for granted. Resulting, ups and downs in my life. After the hurricane, I am always back to the arms of love of my husband, son & family. So far, they stand by me and never give up hope on me eventhough at times I have to admit I have some slight temperamental issue :) And forever always, make me love my husband even more, adore my son even more and grateful to be blessed to have a comfy family background without me enduring hard times.
